EggCentris is a centre of excellence for reproductive health assessment.  As a contract research laboratory specialised in the analysis of the reproductive function we offer question directed project research and have developed a unique battery of innovative multi parametric long term in vitro bioassays to assess female and male fertility and embryo toxicity.  Our in vitro bioassays, closely mimicking the in vivo physiology, only require minute amounts of product to generate in a short time, qualitative and quantitative data typifying a compound's impact on reproductive health.  Our services are of value for the pharmaceutical and the chemical industry for screening and elucidating mechanisms of actions.

In-vitro Batteries

Female fertility:  FBA:  Follicle Bioassay; assessment of ovarian cycle, steroidogenesis, oocyte development.  IVM:  In-vitro maturation; assessment of the meiotic process.  IVF:  In-vitro fertilisation; functional assessment of gamete (oocyte/sperm) quality. 

Male fertility:  Leydig and sertoli cell cultures, and sperm analysis
